Sunday School and Young People
Jubilate
3rd Sunday in the Month 10.30am in St Margaret’s Hawes
This is our regular family service developed during the period at the end of Lockdown and we took advantage of the pews ‘with doors’ at St Oswalds, so each family could be suitably distanced from each other! Now with greater freedom to move around and mingle and to fit in with the new plan of services, Originally called Praise in the Pen, Jubilate now takes place in Hawes on the third Sunday. The service is action packed with lots of singing, story telling, praying together and craft – suitable for all ages. Do come and join us and bring others.
The Gathering – Our Benefice Service
First Sunday of every month, 10.30 at St Margaret’s in Hawes
The Gathering is a service where all four churches in the benefice come together to worship. During this service the young people spend some time in the NASH next-door following their Activ8 programme, looking at the scriptures and theme for the day, before joining their families for the communion in the main service
Pathfinder’s – a group for Young People
Every fourth Sunday 3.15 at Stalling Busk

DANCE VIDEO PREMIERE – Easter in Lock-down: My Lighthouse
In true Yorkshire Dales style, we weren’t going to let lock-down get in the way of celebrating the JOY that comes this Easter Sunday when we declare that nothing is too big for Jesus, not even death! So when we put a call out to the community, families across the Dales picked up their phones, pressed record and they danced in the homes and in their gardens, choosing joy over fear.
And here’s the video!
Jesus is a light in the darkness and what a day to celebrate that!
Happy Easter
